"Back when Godzilla was taken seriously as a symbol for nuclear annihilation. Godzilla emerged from the sea after nuclear bombs were tested. He is, in essence, a giant walking nuclear disaster. The Godzilla sequels just became ridiculous and childish. This is the best Godzilla movie ever, no doubt about it."

"This is a classic movie and I think anyone who's a fan of science fiction should see it. The story is about a giant creature mutated by hydrogen bomb testing and is a metaphor for the dangers of nuclear war. This film is the original that spawned so many future movies."

"Godzilla is a must-see monster film. This movie is well-written and acted. Some of the effects do look silly compared to the effects available today but they only add to the charm of this classic. Definitely worth viewing to see the orgin of a famous monster."
