"Dave (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), a teenage comic fan decides to become a superhero and discovers how real life differs from the comics. Then he runs into a father daughter duo (Nicholas Cage and Chloe Grace Moretz) who are doing the same thing, but are taking it to extremes he hadn't reached. I did like this movie a lot. Moretz is shockingly funny as the dirty-mouthed, crime-fighting, child dynamo, Hit-Girl; Cage is just right as the father who's raising her wrong. They have a relationship that reminded me of The Addams Family. The only part I didn't like about it was the contrived romance between Dave and Katie. She seems a little too forgiving of his deception"

"Kick-Ass is a kick-ass movie. It's actually really juvenile but you can't help but laught at their antics anymore. Chloe was amazing as Hit Girl. I read somehwere that she trained with Jackie Chan's stunt team for this movie. She was just a kid when this movie was released, which makes it all the more amazing."

"I personally found the premise of this movie to be a little silly. We are all familiar with the typical super hero story line. This one tries to take that, and turn it into a comedy about a teenager stuck in a fantasy world. Seems kind of boring to me!"

"A deft adaption of the source material, which manages to hit all the right notes. It's far from my favorite superhero film, but it's definitely worth watching, especially if you're a Mark Millar fan. I thought the casting was superb."

"The first R-Rated movie that wasn't named Deadpool, this movie was a lot of fun. This movie is NOT for kids, so don't be fooled by the young cast. It's over the top, but still tells a decent story. Recommended."

"Kick-Ass is a poorly made film based on the 2010 comic book. The story is good but the film is poorly acted and directed which just makes it a disappointment and missed opportunity to make a really good movie."

"From the title, I was expecting a light-hearted fun superhero movie. However, I was sorely mistaken. This is one of the darker superhero movies I've seen. Still, it's a great story and great action scenes."

"Mark Millar has hit pretty much gold with a lot of his movies. Kick-ass was no different, it was sheer brilliance, over the top violence and fun. You won't find a better comic book adaptation."

"Kick-Ass i guess is okay but doesn't reaaly have that wow factor ain't it? I mean it covers a vigilante story but it doesn't really emit anti-hero."
