"Wonderful art style, I must say. Animation wise, it is fluid and relatively refreshing. I honestly think this is more of a slice of life anime than a romance. I would also understand those people who would say that the character and plot development is quite slow but it really is, at first. I recommend this as one of the best slice of life romance anime of all time."

"From a technical standpoint, this is truly a beautiful film. From the animation to the musical score, to the camera work, it is wonderfully presented. The story is also told beautifully in such a way that it tackles every single emotion from both perspectives. Another masterpiece by Makoto Shinkai and deserving of all the praise that it is receiving."

"This movie is a recent hit in the animation scene. Your Name has won tons of awards and received general acclaim for its characters and touching love story with a unique twist. The animation has been praised as well. This is one of the best movies to come from Japan in years."

"If you could only watch one of Makoto Shinkai's movies, let it be this one. It's his best work to date that combines all the best aspects of his previous movie and further refines them to create something that not only is visually appealing but also be very relatable."

"This award winning quality movie made me jump, squirm and cry in frustration. It was so good that you can actually feel the vibration from the meteor the disappointments of the characters as well as the heart break they felt. :'("

"This has a very nice cover to it and the plot seems pretty solid, a good coming of age story that spans many years and follow two people."
