    "This is a great film for young people, but might go over the heads of children, although there is nothing objectionable to be found. What makes this worthwhile, aside from an engaging plot and characters, is the viewer learns quite a lot of British-controlled India. There's also music and dancing! This film really has a lot to offer thoughtful young people."

    "This was something I wanted to see as I really haven't watched Bollywood movies very much. This really gave me a good idea about Indian culture as far as politics and even sports. I really think that this movie is probably one of the essential Bollywood movies that if you are interested in the genre you need to see it."

    "As far as movies go, this isn't terrible. I understand that Indian movies don't have quite as high a production value as a lot of Hollywood movies, but they're still very impressive. I was able to follow along with the plot fairly well, but there's no denying the fact that it's very foreign."
