"This movie has a lot of singing maybe around 95%? I ain't the biggest fan of musicals but I thoroughly enjoyed Les Mis. The performance are fantastic. Everyone performed really well, especially Anne Hathaway and Hugh Jackman."

"I love this book... it's a little dense to get through at first, but once you get used to the flowery archaic language the story grabs you and doesn't let go. This is the movie version, but you should watch the movie AND read the book!"

"As a work of art, Les Miserables is fantastic. It's truly entertaining, while maintaining a certain level of historical accuracy. However, in the category of "historical films", there are far more informative movies out there, so while it is a good solution, I cannot say that it is the best."

"I absolutely love this movie. After seeing the musical on stage so many times I was so excited for this movie to come out. I saw it in theaters and then purchased the blu-ray afterward. I've seen it over a dozen times and definitely think it fits this category extremely well."

"I'm a huge movie buff. I was researching movies where the protagonist dies early. I found out about Les Miserables. Wow, what a great movie! The acting is amazing and the story is so immersive. I cried during several parts of the film. It was so touching. I was so sad when the protagonist died early on. This is a beautiful movie that I recommend to everyone out there that loves musicals and dramatic films."
