Denzel was amazing in this movie, and even though this movie first came out over 25 years ago, his performance solidified as one of the great actors of our time. Malcolm X is a foray into more serious subject matter for Lee, who I came to know from such movies as School Daze and Do The Right Thing."

What are the best Spike Lee movies - #2August 9, 2018"I loved Denzel Washington's acting prowess in this movie. It was very cinematic for me. Time will come that I will let my brother watch this biography and educational tribute film so he would be aware of the timeless pursuit of a black activist who wants nothing but black liberation and for the black people to be recognized through some unusual civil rights movement."
