"Perhaps one of the most thrilling documentaries ever released, the story itself is really interesting but the star here is the tight storytelling. It almost feels like watching a heist, with the way things are planned and executed. Really a testament to what good film making can do to an already engaging story, and a pleasure to watch for anyone who enjoys documentaries."

"First time I watched this and I immediately know why it won the Academy Award for best documentary feature. Before watching the docu, I thought Philippe Petit is just some suicidal guy who wants attention... but his daring stunt was actually proof that every person has that inner voice convincing us to chase our own dreams and find that great sense of fulfillment"

"Man on Wire is an intimate documentary. It is about Philippe Petit and how he prepared for a high wire walk across the Twin Towers. It may sound boring to some, and I wasn't that interested before I watched this. The man and the act are amazing when given the perspective of this documentary. I highly recommend it to anybody who likes documentaries."

"This one was a surprise for me. I watched it on the recommendation of a friend, and it is an involving and inspiring story. I remember vaguely hearing about this guy's crazy feat of daring do, but I never paid attention to it at the time. This story is pretty darn amazing. Check it out."

"Okay, this is cool. It might not be one of the best things, but it sure is interesting. There is a lot of amazing footage. Well worth a watch. But it isn't up there with something like the Taj Mahal or anything. But a fun watch."

"If you love documentaries you need to check this one out. It is definitely one of my favorites. Very informal and interesting even to people who had no ideal who Philippe Petit was. It is one of the most well made I've seen."

"This show really gets me at the edge of my seat. Philip's such a daredevil! Any moment him crossing the wire could be his last moment yet he did not fear it! He lived the moment!"
