"when I was a little girl, this is one of my faav movies because this is what my mum always played back then. Now that I have a daughter, I thought of showing her this movie just to make her feel good, this is perfect since Matilda is a bright girl and I want my daughter to be like her someday, except ofc the magic thing haha"

"Reading an interview with grown-up Matilda (the actress who played her) really ruined this movie for me. I no longer see it as heart-warming, but just a shrill and demanding child who's going to grow up into a worst adult."

"Matilda is a pretty good children's movie on Netflix. It stars Danny DeVito so you have to like him, and he directs it too. Many have seen this movie many many times."
