"Old Boy tells the story of Oh Dae-Su being kidnapped and put in prison for 15 years. He is eventually released, but it comes with an issue. Oh Dae-Su has only 5 days to find his captor. I love mystery thrillers and Old Boy didn't let me down. It was originally released in 2003 and directed by Park Chan-wook. It's based on the Japanese manga written by Nobuaki Minegishi and Garon Tsuchiya. That manga is excellent as well, but Old Boy is our discussion and I have to give it 5 stars."

"Old Boy is one crazy movie. I've seen it about a dozen times and I can't wait to watch it again. It is certainly one of those films that just gets you thinking and keeps you up at night. Park Chan-wook is in his prime here, and he does an incredible job directing this film. If you haven't seen Old Boy, I recommend checking it out."

"I've seen the American version of this so I decided to give this one a try and oh god this is darker and more intense! Especially the relationship between the father and daughter!! I was shocked and deeply bothered when she promised her virginity to him!"

"I love finding messed up movies and viewing so when I heard of the Old Boy I really could not help myself. And I was not disappointed this movie will leave you uncomfortable for hours after watching it. It is beautifully done and disturbing."

"Old Boy is an action packed adventure. The movie has a slow start and steady climbs in suspense and interest. It explodes into a modern day Bruce Lee film! I can watch time and time again!"

"This is the version to get! Avoid the American remake as it can't hold a candle to this. A brilliant, exceptionally realized film that is a worthy addition to any movie library."
