"TBH i had my doubts about the directorial skills of Spike Lee. Don't get me wrong though i like most of his movies. But I found it annoying to see him as an actor in his movie. But anyway, i still like this film and has even blown me away."

"A somewhat lackluster remake of a great film, that manages to seem pointless and unsatisfying. The original was iconic, while this is just utterly forgettable. Not recommended, at all."

"I never really liked the film's premise, even with the original ones, but I think Brolin killed it again. Spike Lee dropped the ball, and should have done better., "

"I probably would've killed myself if I were put in Joe's place. The story is a tragedy and of false hope. A very good twist but so heartbreaking. "
