Parenthood

A funny movie starred by Steve Martin and Mary Steenburgen that tells the story of the Bruckman's family and friends and the troubles of bringing up their kids and a family. Teenagers, skeletons in the closet, spoiled little children, the stranged relatives..

"Great movie. It covers multiple generations of a quirky family and all of it's ups and down. The cast is all star, but it has a few slow-ish spots. But there are some really great moments. The little kids steal a few of the scenes away from some of the biggest stars as well. Ron Howard directed it to boot!"

"The preteen stage of Joaquin Phoenix in this movie is the one I love the most. He was so young in this film that I almost forgot it was atually him. As a child, he was able magnify the fact that the character is emotionally distant from his family."
