"One again, this problem is a bit broad, and asking for plural not singular, however it seems to be a good pick. It is not one that I would consider my favorite Ben Affleck movies, however and have not seen anything more then the trailer myself, but judging by the almost 2500 reviews with a 4.5 star rating it appears to be well liked by others."

"I know this is fiction based on a true event, but watching this movie made me study the tragedy in Pearl Harbor more seriously in school. It also showed the viewpoint of the Japanese in the movie when the event transpired, so it so it put them to light as human beings just following orders rather than faceless grunts."

"This movie is a terrible schlock-fest. The story is sloppy, and it's hard to get behind a lead character that is so quick to abandon her love for the lost hero. There are much better love stories, and this doesn't even qualify as a war movie, despite its setting."

"Heartbreaking fiction based on true events. sad to see how our veterans died so needlessly in a cowardly attack. The movie really showed the horrible events of war, something that video games continue to romanticized"

"This film is a historical revisionism: Japan NEVER bombed the hospitals of Hawaii! Michael Bay just did it for the sake of explosions. It's more of a love story than the actual war."
