"This definitely does qualify as a martial arts movie. It does offer a lot of comedic value though, so I would not recommend it to anyone who is looking for an entirely serious martial arts movie. But, if you don't mind laughing and getting to see some awesome Kung Fu moves, this is a great move to watch."

"Sports and martial arts genres mix to produce something of an oddity but at the same, a great and well-executed movie. The cartoonish, comical style of Stephen Chow is present here and adds to the theme of the movie. It's not his best work but it is one of the greats."

"I'm not really a fan of martial arts movies and have a hard time following the plots of most Chinese language films but this one has enough comedy to keep me entertained."

"This is a decent movie. It's not the best, but definitely not the worst. I would not classify it as a "best" Chinese movie though."

"This movie was silly but I found that to take away from what could have been a great plot. It was a little too amateur for me."
