"Although The Hobbit series is amazing, I would have to say the Lord of the Rings Trilogy is probably the better of Peter Jackson's movies. Desolation of Smaug is the second part of the Hobbit series and, in my opinion, just doesn't measure up to LOTR."

"I really thought this was just a cash-grab for the LOTR franchise. I still do to this day. The only saving grace of this movie was casting Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly. LOL. Lilly especially because she totally rocks as a she-elf!"

"I watched this in the cinema and it was amaaaaazing! Hearing Benedict CUmberbatch's thunderous voice as Smaug was an eargasmic experience in the theater. 10/10 would recommend just for BenC!"

"If you like the series of Lord of the Rings, you'll love this movie. It's based on the book "The Hobbit", and although movies are never as good as the book, this move is definitely worth watching."

"The visual effects of this movie are just awesome. I adore all the mythical creatures and characters they have. The Hobbit, Narnia, and Harry Potter are my fave movies EVER!!!"

"Ughhhhh i love sir ian but his extra scenes just added to the overall bloatedness of the entire movie trilogy. It should just not have been there, period."
