"I am not really into musical and all that, but after seeing the sound of music back then, I told myself that when I already have kids, I'd like them to see this film. Fast forward, my daughter just turned 8 and I knew it was the time to show her this film. So we watched it together, and good thing she really liked it! She watched it again the second time alone, and perhaps she'll watch it again and again! Maria in the movie is such an inspiration to kids! aside from that fact that she's a good singer, I like her positivity and for me it can be considered as one of those educational movies! 😊"

"I've never encountered any musical movie as delightful and enchanting as this one. I love how this movie celebrates little joys around. Not to mention that this was made a little shortly after the world war! How depressing is that! It must have take a lot of inspiration from the screenwriters to still achieve a genuine movie such as this."

"Only fourth greatest movie musical of all time? Well, it's hard to argue against the American Film Institute but this should at least be in the top two in my opinion. For what it's worth, Sound of Music is definitely one of the greatest films ever."

"It is no doubt that this won the Best Picture of the Year. This musical was simply magical--also the costumes, the choreography, and the script itself--it left me in awe during and after watching it. Kudos!!"
