"One of the most mind-blowing movies ever, and arguably the single best Jim Carey performance of all time. I bawled like a baby a good 10 minutes after watching this movie. It had such a profound and long-lasting effect on me. The idea of living your life from the moment you were born until the day you die on TV while others play God dictating your every move is both nightmarish and speaks volumes about our society today. I bought the Blu-ray copy of this wonderful movie recently and I've watched it 5 times already. It's just one of those movies that feeds your soul and makes you reflect on your very existence."

"I first watched the Truman show on HBO a few years back at my friend's house and since then, it has become my favorite Jim Carrey movie. I know Jim carrey mostly from his mainly comedy roles but this movie incorporated that aspect of him, plus his versatility as an actor."

"Without a doubt, the best Jim Carrey movie of all time. He combined comedy with biting critique of "reality" tv and the over saturation of crass televised voyeurism. That and how the protagonist was utterly triumphant in the end."
