"This is a very different take on the crime genre and probably one of the most interesting foreign films I have seen, although I haven't seen much cinema from South Africa. Tsotsi seems like a hardened criminal, but with the situation he gets himself into he comes off as a sort of anti-hero. I would recommend it even if you aren't used to watching movies with subtitles."

"If you thought all criminals are bad, then think again. They could be victims of circumstance or poor people. We should stop judging them and instead give them chance to redeem."
