"This is my favorite Mel Brooks film, by far. The studios initially refused to let him make it in black and white... even the cinematographer said he was crazy. Crazy like a fox! This is a masterpiece! The black and white is rich, lushous! It is a true homage to all the classic horror movies like Frankenstein, Dracula and the Wolfman. The cast is amazing, a snapshot in time, of some of the greatest comedians, Gene Wilder, Madeline Khan, Peter Boyle, Cloris Leachman, Marty Feldman and Teri Garr. A timeless classic, still funny after all these years."

"A great, classic Halloween film! My family and I watch Young Frankenstein every year on Halloween as part of our Halloween tradition. It might not be your classic scary movie, but Gene Wilder's performance is incomparable and a little comedy never hurt anyone."

"Mel Brooks' parodies on any subject is always filled with hilarity! I'm surprised he chose frankenstein to parody tho instead of more obvious ones like dracula but it works anyway so who am i to complain."

"Watching this when I was still a young kid made me lose the fear of watching horror movies. I don't know if I have a mental disorder but now, I am starting to find laughter in spooky movies. LOL. 😂"
