Singles - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack

Also available on:

Singles by Cameron Crowe was a movie about being single in a city like Seattle, a classic rom-com plot, but what made this city an icon of an era was that it took place in Seattle in the early 90's. In one line: the city that made Grunge. Its soundtrack, selected by its own director, Cameron Crowe a music journalist in the Rolling Stone magazine, included a selection of music anthems by the most iconic grunge bands of the era, like Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam with songs like Breath and State of Love and Trust, never released on record, Smashing Pumpkins, Screaming Trees, Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden and other classic musicians like Jimi Hendrix, born and raised in Seattle, and the ex-Replacements Paul Westerberg. The soundtrack of an era.

"90s music is just so nostalgic for me. I bought this album because everyone said the music was just so reminiscent of the 90s. I had never even seen the movie, but I did love the music!"
