Well, third time's really a charm for Viola Davis when she finally brought home the trophy for the Best Supporting Actress award for her movie Fences at the 2017 Oscars! She was previously nominated for her previous movies The Help and Doubt. Considered to be one of the most inspiring Oscar speeches of all time, Davis said with a full heart that she's forever thankful for becoming an artist and for being able to celebrate "...what it means to live a life." (Davis, 2017). And just like her character in Fences, Davis taught us that the real essence of being a devoted wife and mother is to continuously learn how to love, lose, win, and fail at life.
