"I was looking for an alternative to the anime series Death Note and I found the series Death Parade. It was a great short run anime series, that felt a lot like Death Note. They both have a fantasy plot with a dark edge while dark powers are encountered and sometimes abused. Great!"

"A no ordinary show that should be watched by any anime fans or even beginners as this tackles the concept of death and expands it into a game style format. I like that the show is very different than the usual survival game on anime."

"Drama is the default theme of Death Parade...So if you really want to watch a drama anime this is your perfect choice. This revolves around dead people who face their end either in reincarnation or oblivion. Very interesting right?"

"This unsuspecting seinen show tackles some pretty deep and dark themes such as death and morality. The art is great, and the pacing is just right, and its episodic stories are neatly concluded with every watch."

"Aside from being mysterious, I feel like Death Parade is more of a dark anime. I really hesitated to watch it at first but it was sort of cool so it's still a good mystery anime"
