"I love both Overlord and Log Horizon. The concept of these anime themes that get people trapped in video games seems just so enjoyable and a good mix and of reality and fantasy. The perfect blend of anime that I like. I just like Log Horizon a bit more because it's a bit lighter"

"What makes this similar to SAO is that it's also set in an MMORPG world but other than that, the stories of each anime are totally different. I can't compare both of them because they are both good. Since ending SAO, this has become my new obsession. So far, so good! :D"

"this is the opposite of devil is a part timer in the sense that instead of the fantasy being brought to the real world, the real world is brought to a fantasy world. things like politics and economy mixing with video game raids? HELL YEAH!"

"Log Horizon is a pretty good manga but the link here is going to the anime. I think there is something wrong."

"Now that I finshed this series, I just soooo miss the laughs this gave me. The cool themes it presented. And although many people would first claim this has resemblance with SAO, I must say Log Horizon is unique on its own."

"Log Horizon is probably the most unique and the best isekai anime to date. Sure, there are tons of anime featuring characters caught up in a video game fantasy world but this one takes on a different approach. It's a lot more chill and it didn't just focus on one character. It kinda focused on the political system of the fantasy world and they have a large cast of characters 👍"

"The theme of combat and politics in this show is actually rare and I enjoyed it. Actually, this feels more than an MMO than SAO did. The characters also don’t hack for convenience so I feel like for an isekai anime, its one of the obvious choices"
