"Even though Pawn Stars is a reality show, I think it's obvious that there is a lot of scripting and editing, especially as you get into the later seasons and you lose some of the more genuine family moments. But even when I can tell a shot has been set up a certain way, it's cool to see the store and all the kinds of items that you might be able to find in a pawn shop."

""Pawn Stars" follows three generations of the Harrison family as they assess the value of items coming in and out of their Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, from the commonplace to the truly historic."

"I visited their shop when I went to Vegas sometime last year. It was so surrel 10/10 seeing their displays and their daily operation. Sadly there weren't any cameras rolling at the time. 😕"

"Pawn stars is kind of like the Antique Road show on PBS, but with more drama. It's fairly interesting and a cool way to learn about the history of objects."

"Pawn Stars is an interesting show for the historic origins of the items. As far as the rest, well, it looks scripted."
