"Tales from the Crypt aired from 1989-1996. HBO paired with major directors to adapt the infamously gruesome horror stories of legendary 1950s publisher EC Comics. It is certainly one of the top shows to add to your collection. Other choices include Twin Peaks, The Twilight Zone, The X Files, and the current popular American Horror Stories"

"Tales from the Crypt is the perfect horror series. There is something new in each episode. It had all the elements of frightening tv. There was always some element of unknown combined in with some violence that made each episode terrifying in its own right. I liked how each episode was its own stand alone thing too."

"Tales from the Crypt was one of the coolest shows on TV when I was younger. It was kind of a cross between Stephen King and The Twilight Zone. And the Cryptkeeper was always a hoot. It might be 25 years old but it's still a fun watch."

"A talking skeleton-like undead thing hosting this? What could be weirder than that? If you have any ideas you can pitch in."
