"The story moves slowly but it matches the pace of the tone of the series. I also like the bright and vibrant colors of the animation."

"A story of acceptance and recovery through the medium of music. This is one of the more serious and darker shows relating to music. It's very emotional, almost painful to watch sometimes but hold on and you'll be in for quite a journey."

"Although it did take me a few episodes to really get into Your Lie in April i did enjoy watching this school anime. At first it was hard for me to warm up with its characters especially the protagonist as he is too hard to understand at first. "

"I don't get to watch that much music-themed anime so this was a surprise for me. There are a lot of depth and dark moments in this show. One thought came to after finishing it, "in suffering, we bonded". It's a bit dark but having someone with you in your darkest of times proved to be what you needed all along to move on and get better."

"The story itself is very predictable halfway through, but the way it depicted the story and the feelings of the characters are very touching. The graphic is great and above all I love the seiyuus in this anime."
