Jamie Lannister is Azor Ahai

Azor Ahai was a warrior who fought to end the Long Night. Also called the Prince That Was Promised, he possessed a flaming sword called Lightbringer that he forged by sacrificing his wife Nissa Nissa. This Game of Thrones fan theory argues that Jamie Lannister might be Azor Ahai reborn, with his near death experience in the lake being his rebirth amidst smoke and salt. He could also be the one who murders his sister, fulfilling that part of the prophecy. Aditionally, Reddit user, byrd82, states that Valyrian words for gold and hand are aeksion and ondos, while Valyrian words for lord and light are aeksio and onos. This could have led to a mistranslation and the erroneous creation of a religion, with the prophecy actually saying that the true savior is the “Gold Hand”.

"This fan theory is believable and does make sense considering the show. I'm just not too sure how many people would actually agree since people have a lot of opinions. Just look at the YouTube comments, not everyone is agreeing on it."
