Marvel

Marvel is the first mainstream comic publisher. Created in 1939 under the name of Timely Comics it wasn't until 1961 with the creation of the Fantastic Four and other superhero teams created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko and many others that didn't get the fame that it has now. Marvel is the publisher of characters like Fantastic Four, Spiderman, the Avengers, Iron Man, Thor, Ant Man, the X-men, Deadpool, Black Panther or Ms Marvel. On 2009 Disney bought Marvel and now they launch comics, movies animated series and a lot of other stuff.
