"I've been going to My Abandonware for a lot of retro games lately. I absolutely loved Dragon's Lair II as a child and playing it again on an Atari ST emulator decades later just brings back a lot of memories from my childhood. Still a really great game! "

"the instructions for download is pretty detailed and I was able to get mine but this one's kinda outdated since it's the first ever diablo LOL but still it's good to have an introduction with the diablo. Besides, I was only checking it this game's for me.."

"This site is pretty cool because you get a lot of the games I grew up with. I was a huge fan of the 80's and 90's types of games. There are a ton here and they are right at your finger type. With that said might not be the best for the game above."

"@Ralph Reynolds I'm with ya on that one, mate. Speaking as someone who doesn't have access to a high-end PC, ROMs and emulators are the only places I can play games without dedicated ram. Unfortunately for us GBA emulator gamers, Nintendo doesn't really care about it's playerbase and I doubt they'll pull the lawsuit back just because a select few wouldn't approve. Their plans for future revenue comes first, after all"

"If ever you come across the "page not found" section of this site, just click on Abandonware's main page since it shows the "not found" section to avoid detection from Nintendo due to copyright laws and whatnot. Hope I helped! :D Upvote this comment so it won't get lost."

"Can't find good DOS games until I stumbled across this one by accident. Talk about fate lmao, it's cool and the games've brought me nostalgia, as well as admiration for old games that I haven't tried before."

"Oh man, this used to be the romsite where I got most of my emulator games. Damn Nintendo managed to get this one closed down. Oh whale, guess we'll have to settle with other sites :("

"Let's hope that because this site doesn't have the word "rom" in it anywhere, Nintendo's lawsuit passes over this, eh? That way a few good rom sites can still stay. A guy can dream, right? Because let's face it, the only way us nostalgic gamers can enjoy games from the past are due to roms and emulators."

"I really love this ROM website. I think almost all of the ROMs I have on my pc now have come from this site. What I like is that the website itself shows the efforts of the developers to make a site that isn't just some dumping ground of ROMS. It is a good and informative website that has interesting tidbits of info that is nice to know (or read while you're downloading ROMS, lol). This is 5 stars for me!"

"Great site! When it comes to reallllyy old games, I think one of the best websites to check out first is this one. I know when I was looking for the Super Mario game for my SNES emulator this is where I looked first. What makes this site different is it has these reallly old school games from way back in the 80s which are awesome to check out too!"

"this website is a excellent resource for finding and playing old video games, and for the games they can't give you free legally they have links to stores where you can get them. "
