"So Outlander was my favorite historical series and I had read every book by Diana Gabaldon. When I heard Starz was going to do a series out of it, I was very excited. It’s not often that a TV series gets a book right, but this one did. There’s been no decline since the first episode. Hope it goes on for at least ten years because the first four have been a pleasure to watch."

"I found this book to be very tedious and was not one that captured your attention from the very beginning. It was not what I expected in the way of 18th century romance books. I found the characters to be weak and for lack of a better word - unlikable. Of course some people may find the book to their liking but for me, I struggled to get through the book."

"What a romantic book. I couldn't help but read it all in one sitting. I picked it up after a recommendation from one of my friends who knew I love 18th-century romance. It was exactly what I wanted to read after my recent heartbreak. I wanted to be taken back in time and experience what love was like back then. This book does not disappoint, from scenes in the chamber room to steam sessions in the bedroom. I highly recommend this book. You will not regret picking it up. "
