"Played the first 2 installments for this game back when it was still a cartoony flash game with funny graphics. It's awesome to find out that there's already a third part that's equally awesome and funt to play with. The price is just insane, though. Like why in the shit is the game this expensive?"

"The solution provides a 4X game that is available on Android devices. I'm not sure if I personally would want to play this game, but it does fill a game category that is apparently lacking. I do not use Android devices, therefore I can not critique it further."

"If you're looking for 4X games for Android, Star Traders 4X is the strategy game for you! In order to win, you must take control of many different aspects of society in this turn-based strategy game, such as spies, economics, politics, and technology. "

4X games are video games where players are required to control units and build and defend infrastructures to explore a map, expand territories, exploit resources, and exterminate opponents. These games are subdivided into two genres, turn-based games like Civilization, or real-time games like Age of Empires.

Did you know that it was Simtex's game, Master of Orion, that redefined the genre of 4X games? Master of Orion was a futuristic science-fiction, and space-themed, turn-based game developed by Simtex and released by MicroProse in 1993. It required players to control their units and manage resources to dominate a map by colonizing planets. It only followed similar games like Civilization and Reach for the Stars, but it was only after Master of Orion's arrival that the term 4X was coined and used, when the magazine Computer Gaming World wrote it to describe the game in a preview. The magazine then awarded the game the Strategy Game of the Year award in 1994 and called it Civilization, but in space. In 2003, IGN named the game as the 98th best game of all time, while GameSpy inducted the game into its Hall of Fame and GameSpot included it in the list of greatest games of all time.

"I really like that you have this optimized for tablets. This seem like it is a bit complicated so this may not be for everyone. Especially like the fact that I can interact with my friends online or challenge myself for hours on end. "

"This seems like it could be a decent game, but it does come at a price. It's $9.90 on Google Play which is high for a mobile game, but it doesn't appear to have in-app purchases. Basing my opinion on the reviews, I have to say that this is a good solution."

"New Dawn for the Galaxy starts with everybody in a shady corner of an unexplored galaxy, though the game immediately begins forcing you out into the wild. The large amount of different technologies to experiment with, star systems to discover, and different racial powers gives Eclipse incredible depth and make it fun for me to play over and over."

"I've been looking for a well rounded 4x strategy game to play on the go for awhile now. Most games fail to live up to what is essentially the god father of these type of games, Civilization. MiniCiv Alpha does just that, it's a 4x strategy game for mobile. This plays a lot like Civilization, you can tell that's where they drew their inspiration. I'm happy to have found this."
