"In my opinion, Independence Day is one of the greatest science-fiction films of all time. The CGI alone would have done the trick but then again, if you add on the storyline and the actors who made the script spring to life, then you have an enjoyable and witty story that is worth millions of dollars in theater returns alone."

"To say that Armageddon is a box-office success is selling the movie short. It has a good plot, a good cast, and great CGI effects. I was looking for a Blu Ray copy but was confused with all this "types" of CDs. Fortunately, this site pointed me to Amazon and of course, Amazon is a reliable seller. Now I can watch this movie over and over. "

"Sci-fi meets Kung-fu. This is a provocative film that will force you to think. What if this is really happening? Keanu Reeves wore Neo's mantle very well and Lawrence Fishburne felt like he was born to play Morpheus. One of the best movies of all time, not in just the science-fiction category."

"Oh man. I loved the first Terminator movie but to have Arnie go over to the good guys is just a happy-ending on its own. You can say anything about the following films in this movie series but Terminator II: Judgment Day is definitely one of the best in this franchise. Besides, it is funny to watch the TX follow the bratty boy's commands."

"As a kid, I thought Dinosaurs are the greatest thing besides a basket-full of crayons. Streaming this movie via Amazon brought me back to my childhood. I wish I just bought the DVD or the Blu Ray copy though. Why? Because I know my kids would love watching this film too. Also, a healthy dose of fear with these cold-blooded killers might do wonders when it comes to sleeping time!"

"From the trilogy that revolutionized sci-fi and CGI effects in general, Star Wars: The Phantom Menace should be ranked higher on this list. But then again, looking at this list, it is fair to assume that those movies ranked higher are actually better. While SWTPM is a good movie in its own right, I think this list is pretty accurate. Then again, if you factor-in the significance of this film, it portrays the origins of the most feared villain of all time, then this should have been ranked higher. Regardless, I am just happy that this made the list at all and the ranking is fair and true. Kudos!"

"Stallone vs Snipes. In my opinion, this is another underrated sci-fi movie. Most people talk about the fight-scenes but the fight-scenes are secondary to the plot in this case. A future with reduced human contact. Even the sexual act! It's funny how Sandra Bullock and Sylvester Stallone tried to make love! Overall, this movie has everything and should be recommended to everyone. "

"Gattaca is one of the most underrated films of all time. It has a great thought-provoking storyline and a good cast. While the theme is dark, the future the movie portrays has a distinct possibility of happening. The advances in science wouldn't be enough to stop human nature. Great movie."
