"I haven't listened to a lot of audiobooks as I like to create the characters "voice" in my own head. Most of us know the story surrounding In Cold Blood. I've seen a dozen documentaries on it myself. I thought I had heard and experienced it all. Nothing lends itself to this book as well as the narration of Scott Brick to this book. It's absolutely chilling, but perfectly so."

"I thought that this was the best Scott Brick narrated book I've ever heard. Typically when I hear a book narrated I find myself annoyed because of the tone and inflections that the narrator uses. This was not the case here. Scott Bricks voice lends gravitas to a deeply philosophical book. It only enhances the subject matter. "

"I will rate it 2 because I think I felt compelled to abandon before the end. Its not that bad, I found the first half is very good but then it descended into the realms of dull, futuristic nonsense of the type that completely switches me off. I keep waiting for SOMETHING to happen, but nothing does."

"The audio book Where Men Win Glory is narrated by Scott Brick, who is known as the man with a golden voice. It is very easy to listen to and understand. The story is very intriguing if you are interested in the NFL or if you have hear about Pat Tillman and his decision to leave the NFL to join the army. The story was much more intriguing and complicated than I had realized before listening to this audio book."

"Scott Brick has such a soothing and dramatic voice, which is just perfect for this Dead Wake: The Last Crossing of Lusitania. If you are a fan of historical non-fiction, that I highly recommend this audio-book. Not only is the writing superb, but Scott does a wonderful job of captivating the audience in his narration. Erik Larson, together with Scott Brick brings history alive as they retell the story of Lusitania with its 1,200 casualties under the destructive power of the German Uboat in 1917. "

"A lot of people have an odd fascination with killers like Manson, but I'm not one of them. But at the same time this was a very interesting audio book since the narrator was very good and it involved the court case. I picked this up based on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed."
