"This book epitomizes adventure books with lesbians. It's a story collection by Sacchi Green, all featuring lesbians, and all featuring some adventure/fantasy plot or another. I can't think of another book better suited to this category...or for that matter another book quite like it. "

"This SINFUL and DISGUSTING book should be DESTROYED! I don't know how they allow such filth, and on a site where children might see it! My seventeen year old daughter pointed this out and said she didn't know why it was being shown to her and sure enough, right there in big letters it says "lesbian"! I know they're allowing THOSE people to get married now, but how dare they allow this FILTH to be listed where any child can find it? Terrible! I've already sent an email demanding they remove this TRASH. My poor daughter is traumatized!"

"I have heard many bad things about Gay & Lesbian literature, but I have always been curious about it. I thought I would give this one a try on recommendation from a friend. The retelling of the Persephone myth is a good story, and makes for a decent reading. I would recommend it to anyone curious about this type of fiction."

"This book is a compelling read. It will have you reading it over and over again. The stories in there are unique in many ways. When it comes to the appeal to lesbians, it goes a long ways. It gets away from the more salacious and trashy books. This book is more wholesome and goes with the whole theme of the fairy tales that we grew up with. "

"I'm not sure this is very appropriate for the topic. It features a young woman that has feelings for another woman who is straight, but neither come off as lesbian to me. On top of that, the adventure aspect is a stretch."

"At first glance this seems like another trashy romance novel. The plot and characters had me interested though, sort of like a female james bond main character. There's nothing wrong with this type of book sometimes."
