"For me, this is the best movie of Alfonso Cuaron ever! He is a brilliant director. I like that he always incorporates social issues into his movies. I love that he showed us one of the possible effects of women infertility in our society. And that women are a vital part of it. If you are into a dystopian setting, this is the movie for you"

"This actually made me cry. I honestly think Cuaron was able to get his message across his audience. I was deeply moved by this movie that I had to read more about Cuaron's inspiration for making this movie. I found out it was his nanny who became his inspiration, also his family."

"Gael Garcia and Diego Luna are brilliant actors. Taught me to value the things that really matter no matter how small or big they are. And before I forget, can I just say Alfonso Cuaron and Emmanuel Lubezki really delivered a job well done. The cinematography is compelling and cinematic."

"This film is pretty old. Imagine, I was born in 1995 and it was released in the same year. So it is like a 23-year old film today. I love Roma, god-knows how much I loved that film, but yeah, I must admit this children's film gave me chills. I haven't really read the classic novel A Little Princess but I think this is a good coming-of-age tale!"

"I can still remember that moment I watched this in theaters back in 2006. Brutally beautiful film leaning towards the dark side. Emphasis on storytelling and attention to detail. But to be clear, Pan's labyrinth was not directed by Alfonso Cuaron but he was one of the co-producers."

"Guys, Alfonso Cuaron successfully brought the characters into life. This movie adaptation actually captured the book's magic. I commend Alfonso Cuaron because one of the hardest things in making a movie adaptation is the fact that it should stick to the plot of the book."
