"This show partially solved my problem of not being able to find a suitable Game of Thrones alternative. I found out about it some time after it came out, so I liked being able to binge-watch it without having to wait in between episodes. It was kind of hard to become emotionally invested in such an unfamiliar conflict, and the production was not quite as good as GoT, but I liked how it focused on how conflicts affects individuals and families as well as larger groups and nations; it's definitely epic in that regard."

"The Handmaidens Tale is an excellent show that has nothing to do with Game of Thrones at all - or does it? If you really want to see a world come to life, the Handmaidens tale is an absolute thrill to watch unfold. A stellar period political drama, the GoT parallel becomes clear in the rich characters. In a dystopian society where women are enslaved and every scene looks like it was painstakingly painted by a renaissance master this show will definitely fill your GoT void for a while."

"If you love the Games of Thrones, I challenge you to check out Vikings. It is riveting in its own right, and GoT, while wonderful does not out do Vikings in anyway. It is binge worthy, as you follow along Ragnar Lothbrok and his clan. It will have you wishing you were a Norwegian and could you have been a Viking? Fabulous entertainment. Either purchase it from Amazon for the DVD's, download it from Netflix, or do a combination of that and purchase from Amazon single episodes."

"Anyone looking for a good 'in-between' show to go to when Game of Thrones is on hiatus just found what they were looking for. I decided to pick this show up the past few months when I was agonizingly waiting for Game of Thrones to come back on on a whim and boy-howdy, no pun intended, I am glad I did. It's a bit of sci-fi, a touch of mystery and a whole lot of intriguing which kept me craving more and more the whole time I was watching."

"Daredevil has some great ratings on other review sites as well. It is a good version of the Clark Kent type super hero where he is a lawyer by day and super hero by night. Except that he was blinded as a boy and given the ability to fight injustices in his neighborhood of Hells Kitchen. Sounds like something that would be a good series to watch when you want the Super Hero / Villan genre."

"I do not view this as a alternative to Game of Thrones at all. I am sure it is a good show, however Game of Thrones to me has a better and more complex story line. And it appeals to several age groups. The 100 seems to appeal more to the younger SCI folks. After reading the story line I just to not see how it would be an alternative or compete with Game of Thrones."

"Since Game of Thrones run on limited episodes I have been searching for alternatives during down times. I was referred to check out Isabel and have watched the first handful of episodes. Overall it is a pretty solid show but doesn't fill the void Game of Thrones leaves for me when it is off the air. Definitely worth checking out but keep expectations realistic."

"While not quite as fantastical as Game of Thrones, the Last Kingdom is also a good deal tamer than Game of Thrones. Less violent, less rape focused, it's a good show to watch with the family that has an (at least slightly) historical bent. It's also less romance focused than Outlander, which is a benefit!"

"While Penny Dreadful is a good show, if one is looking for the medieval type stories seen in Game of Thrones, they won't find it here. Penny Dreadful is set in a much more modern era, and though it's full of good stories and wonderful characters, you won't find a counterpart to GoT in this one."
