"Enchanted is such a feel good movie. At first it seems like one of those disgustingly sweet movies that'll only give you a toothache but it's honestly so much more than an eternally smiling, singing character who'se waiting for her prince charming to come. The songs are so catchy, too! I haven't watched this movie in a long time but I bet I still know all the words."

"Her is one of the movies that I come back to again and again and again. If I had to describe it in one word, I'd use resplendent. Of course it's a depressing movie with depressing sentiments but it's so human and real. Really loved Amy's character in this one (who is also named Amy, funnnily enough). She was very much the voice of reason in a chaotic world."

"it was nice to see amy adams on a more dark role after watching her in movies like enchanted and night at the museum. she's so versatile, honestly! people should cast her on more films like this -- a dark, heavy movie that's really pretty to look at. too early to tell but I think this is amy adams at her career best so far"

"Amy adams is her usual sweet, cute-as-a-button self, with all the charm and personality of a 1950s politician. Unfortunately, the scrpt and the plot could've been much much better than a tapestry of by-the-book cliches. But I really liked all the landscapes! Ireland is an amazing country. Would love to visit one day."

"Oh god, this movie. Amy Adams was excellent in this one! She made me wanna kill her husband with my bare hands, she made me want to protect and defend her, she made me want to cry in hopelessness and then cheer loudly when things turned around for her. Only acting of this caliber can make me feel like that..."

"I am a HUGE linguistics nut and this movie rocked my world. You hardly ever see any movies with linguist characters, let alone a linguist who is attempting to communicate with ALIENS so this was very much a nice treat for me. Amy Adams deserves an award for her performance in this movie."

"This heartwarming comedy that's as nice and filling as a homecooked meal cooked for you by your mom. It follows the stories of two different women and shows the parallels between their lives, with one life greatly affected by the other. Amy Adams and Meryl Streep were both exceptional."

"Amy Adams is not who comes to mind when I picture Lois Lane. Nope, not at all. Surpirsingly, she makes it work somehow. Do I thinik they could've casted a better-suited Lois Lane? Yes. Am I at all upset about Adams' performance in the movie? No."
