"I have been searching for great anarchist books for awhile. I came across God and the State and it's been pretty life changing. It was published in 1882. The main idea is how people can gain self determination by renouncing religion. It's a definite eye opener, and one that i'd very highly recommend. "

"The book has a lot of helpful information for people wanting to understand the history of anarchism. The writing is not so dense that someone who wants to read nonfiction more casually can't understand it. I particularly like the fact that there is information about Rocker himself in the book."

"George Orwell's Homage to Catalonia is an excellent book about the Spanish Civil War. This is not really a book about anarchists but more of a story of Orwell's personal experience volunteering as a foreigner in this conflict. This book gives a sober depiction of war as opposed to boastful rhetoric that you usually hear in our current culture."

If you are interested in the world of Emma Goldman, then this is the book for you. It will do a great job of taking you into her world and showing you how her views are formed. There are many better options out there for you to choose when it comes anarchy."

It's always worth reading a book that outlines the issues we are facing today with a new look. Be warned, if you aren't really into this book then it will be boring for you. "

While this might be an okay book the cover doesn't do much for me and there isn't much input as to quality as there are less than 10 reviews for this book. I would definitely have to keep looking in this case."
