"Awesome app, does everything I want. I've spent dozens of hours consuming all this great Manga! One of the things I would prefer though is if there were better filtering options for various categories. The way it is now I see too much of the same thing in every section."

"The Crunchyroll Manga app is becoming my favorite app for manga. It is just as good as the Crunchyroll Anime app that I have been using for a while now. I've been using Crunchyroll for a while now and it is great."

DID YOU KNOW?

As the new age rings in, it's becoming more and more apparent that manga has been taking over the digital world. Thanks to smartphones, people can now download manga right into their Android or iPhone screens. Of course, who doesn't like a manga that's already available on a light and compact device? Isn't the prospect of not carrying the print versions so enticing and comforting at the same time? But what does this mean for the pulp and paper industry of Japan? Well, did you know that the strengthened emergence of apps for downloading manga portend the fall of paper? Yes, the rise of digital manga is changing the way people read it. Consequently, the publishing industry has experienced a decline in recent years. Take for example the sales of paper manga in 2016, which experienced a decrease of 7.4%. And it is expected to continuously be weaker in the market in the coming years.

Despite this, the downfall of traditional print magazines isn't all bad news. In fact, this actually signifies heightened worldwide accessibility of manga titles. Manga is becoming easier and easier to read around the globe. Over the years, several firms have launched manga apps that let users read chapters or some volumes for free. This includes beloved manga titles such as One Piece, My Hero Academia, Naruto, and of course, the classic Dragon Ball. Well, if you are not fond of reading, most of them were turned into a TV series. Say you want to watch Dragon Ball Z online, anime apps have got you covered! Apart from that, they have made these titles available in multiple languages, including English. And if people want to read further and access more content, they just have to pay the subscription fee through in-app currency. Now we can officially say that we have entered a brave new manga world.

"While the forum on Amino for Otakus is fantastic - one of the best communities out there, you can't actually download manga inside the app. So on the front, you have to rate this app low. However, if you're into anime or manga at all, there's a thriving community on there to talk to!"

"This isn't what I was thinking. It's mainly an organizer, think like a digital filing cabinet. It's great for the function it's intended, but the function isn't to download mangas."
