"Piktures has really helped me get all my photos organized with its great online cloud service. It syncs automatically so I don't have to think about it, which is amazing since I don't have to worry about trying to hold onto and remember a bunch of old SD cards. It integrates with other online storage tools, and I can share albums more privately than I can on Facebook. I love using the galleries to browse old photos from specific dates and send pictures to friends as reminders!"

"This is a highly rated photo organization app. It is available in the Google Play store."

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that the least amount of time required to take a photograph with the first camera was eight hours? The term "photography" originated way back in 1839. It was derived from the Greek word "phos" and "graphe", which translates to "light" and "drawing", respectively. These terms, when fused together, means "drawing with light". The earliest recorded instance of attempts to capture images with light-sensitive materials was during the turn of the 18th century. In 1800, Thomas Wedgwood created the first documented attempt at capturing an image permanently. Although this endeavor was unsuccessful, it earned him the right to be called "the first photographer" by some historians.

Nowadays, the art of taking photos is simple, especially with the constant releases of new cameras. This can also be attributed to the number of mobile phones that can capture high-quality photos. Photography apps for mobile phones are becoming popular, with some even offering different filters. Presently, photos can also be altered and edited to fit into the current mood and theme that the photographer desires. Additionally, plenty of different features and options are being introduced with every new camera or mobile phone release. With these in mind, it's safe to assume that at this pace, photography will continue to evolve.

"Excellent, and fun to use. And of course, the cincher is that it works with Google Drive, which is one of the best sharing platforms ever, if you ask me. AS usual, Google has put together a non-nonsense product that does what it's supposed to do and delivers every time. At least for me - I've heard that some had problems with crashing, errors etc. None of that has happened to me so far, so I'm a happy camper right now. I uploaded a lot of pics to the gallery, and it's a charm to manage and update. Thanks Google."

"Sometimes when you want to find the best app for your Android, Google has already done it the best. This is one of those cases where going with Google Photos is just the best solution for storing and displaying your photos. The Google Drive sync really makes it easy to access your photos on any device, and makes it very easy to organize your photos, and send them to friends."

"What a terrible application. I couldn't even use it because the thing keeps scanning and telling my my media folder is empty even though it is clearly packed with photos. This is a cross platform app done wrong, lots of the windows 10 features don't transfer over to the mobile version and vice versa. Just an all around headache for me. "
