It used to be that you'd be limited to just a few genres like shonen or shojo anime shows. Now, seinen and josei anime are becoming more comment and prevalent. There are those that were based on games as well such as fighting games or RPGs. Guys will love these kinds of shows, of course, but what about women? Well, we'd like to introduce anime inspired by otome games. What are otome games, you may ask? An otome game (sometimes shortened to otoge) is a story-based game that is primarily targeted towards women. Otome games have many elements in common with shojo or josei manga actually. One goal is to develop a romantic relationship between the female player and one of several male characters.
