Watching some of the best anime shows out there is always a spectacle. Anime has become synonymous with over-the-top action sequences and fight scenes. This is perfectly complemented with well-placed and timed sound effects as well as an art style that goes well with the overall tone of the show. With all of that in place, the show can now begin to establish a detailed and a sprawling world and setting where its characters can live in. Speaking of characters, it's about time that we discussed them as they are the stars of the show after all. Character development has seen a big leap forward especially in regards to anime TV series. Unlike in anime movies, characters in anime shows are far more complex and have deeper backstories. This, in turn, is what motivates viewers to watch and keep coming back for more episodes.
