"This is a great app if you enjoy hiking or mountain biking but that's about it. Its not a great tool to use as a camping resource or for other outdoor activities. Only recommend if you are an absolute hiking enthusiast because other people will find very little to do with this app."

"Weather is hardly a exact science. It can change in a instant and even be inconsistent in different parts of town. Weather Underground is a new kind of weather app that doesn’t just give you the predicts for the day but rather a real time prediction for your current location. So instead of having a general idea of the weather in the parts of town where the weather equipment is, Weather Underground keeps you up to date with what will affect you. "

"I live in the middle of nowhere on the side of a mountain. This app is invaluable for finding quick tips and information on dealing with minor emergencies. I've never had to use it for any major catastrophe, and God willing, I never will, but it will probably be as useful during an extreme weather event as it has been for first aid and basic tips for household emergencies."

"While Pet First Aid is a useful app for pet owners including those living in the country, it would not be generally considered a great app for country living. There are plenty of other apps that would rank much higher on the list that are more targeted to aiding in country living."

"This is a neat app for people who need to identify plants. I could see it being very helpful if someone was trying to clear brush or if they needed to identify a plant while in the woods. I would expect that you would need good cell service, depending on where you are located."

"For those interested in astronomy, and who are intrigued by the stars in the night sky, this is the ultimate app to have on your phone. Used as a great instructional aid for star mapping and general planetary location, this useful tool will become a valuable aid in understanding what, and where important identities are, and what they mean within the universe. This is a modern day take on where the telescope left off."
