"I downloaded this app for my son since he wants to start playing drums. I could not believe how easy it was to follow along. I really like the detailed instructions it has. In only a week the sound he makes from his drums has improved!"

"GarageBand helps me keep my rythem while I'm away at work and need to make sure that I can hold a solid 4/4 rythem or any other type of rythem. The interface is very clean and it runs quickly as well. "

    #5911 Tabs

    911 Tabs
911 Tabs is a great tablature search engine to find tabs for guitar, bass, piano and drums.

"911 Tabs is a terrific resource if you're learning how to play specific songs by famous artists. I wouldn't call it the best resource for learning how to play the drums, however; there are better sites and apps out there for that purpose. If you're already a bit advanced as a drummer though, this is a good site for learning songs. "

"Drum kit is the best drum app I have found so far. It is very useful for learning how to play drums or playing around with ideas. The one problem with this app is that rimshots can get in the way sometimes."

"The intent is good and some of the technology is awesome but it just doesn't work well on a phone. I thought it might be the cheap phone speakers so I tried it with headphones and it's still not right. There's a lag that dives me crazy. Try again."

"This is great for beginners and music teachers alike. Being able to set a tempo gives a lot of control and can help the student memorize the different speeds which is crucial for orchestral and sight-reading accuracy. "This is a good book for the new drummer. It has lots of different exercises to practice, and you even start playing a beat on the first day. I would suggest buying the cd's as well they are not included. Some people learn better by watching."
