"This is a great game and is popular amongst preteens, so this is an accurate suggestion. Minecraft is a fun and addicting game, and is extremely popular. This app being available on Android is very convenient and would be downloaded fairly often. I personally love this game, and play it frequently on my phone."

"I think the best app for pre teens if YouTube. There is so much good information on other and it's very entertaining also. As long as you can set certain restrictions if you need to. Otherwise, YouTube is generally a clean site. "

"GarageBand is one of the best apps out there right now. It's such a great tool that it is even being used in school classes. I love using it to make guitar songs and even record my singing. The drumming part is cool too!"

"So ive always enjoyed lego games.... Thee only problem is this is the first time i played on mobile. Currently each time i load up the game there are aboslutely NO words ANYWHERE. I meman at this point it becomes a puzzle game but still. No words on the menu means no getting to settings to figure out what needs to be changed or even see what can be changed. If you could help me out with this that would be awesome. Ive reinstalled and even done the whole clear chace from play and everything. Still nothing"

"The Room seems like one of those stereotypical "girl games", by which I mean the whole puzzle / mystery genre that sprung up on PC a decade or so back and has steadily made its way into the mobile and console spaces. And to be fair, it sort of is that. It's definitely a puzzle game, but not like Tetris or Bejeweled, it's more along the lines of Myst or adventure games from the '90s. I don't really care much for the genre myself, but I found myself having fun. And when I gave it to my preteen niece she really enjoyed it. It's lucky that it's a free game, and the sequels only cost a few bucks each, since I think she'll looking to start a collection of puzzle games like this real soon."

"No joke, this app has some cool videos and amazing HD quality pictures. I was not expecting it to be so cheap and so good at the same time. this app makes me want to learn more about the Solar System and its history. Sucks that is not available for IOS users though. You must check out the animations and how simple it is for anyone to use it. Very user friendly. "

"This is a well known app for learning a new language. It does have a social section that can't be disabled though. If you have kids you may want to keep looking for a language learning app that doesn't have this feature."
