DID YOU KNOW?

6 out of 10 young adults in the U.S. use online streaming services to watch television? The emergence of online streaming services like Netflix and HBO Go has paved the way for viewers to increase. Interestingly, among all the genres of TV series, anime still remains to be mainstream based on demographics.

In line with this, Netflix has been exerting a considerable amount of effort to conquer the anime market in the West. At a press event on March 7, 2018, Netflix announced that it will be launching its new feature. A 30-second preview video that will allow subscribers to have a glimpse of its shows and movies will be readily available on its mobile app. Since Netflix is especially becoming a place to watch anime movies and series, ardent fans of fantasy anime like Seven Deadly Sins, can take delight in much more shonen anime on Netflix. On a similar note, Crunchyroll is slowly booming from one hundred thousand paying users in September 2012 to a million in February 2017. Both Netflix and Crunchyroll are legitimate anime websites for streaming anime--whether you are into completed series or perhaps you want to watch One Punch Man Season 2 which is an on-going series. There are also websites and apps wherein you can download anime to enable you to watch them offline aside from streaming anime online. This only proves that anime will always have and will continue to have a place in every heart of every viewer!

"After a few glitches with previous updates, the app is now back to working order. Netflix has been offering a lot of anime content lately and now's a good time to explore and watch some great anime classics and some great current ones. The ability to download and watch episodes offline is still a staple feature of this app and is slowly becoming one of the best anime streaming apps today."

"This is really not an app to stream anime shows but it is a good social app made for fans of them. You can join the community, create a list of our favorite anime shows and ones that you plan to watch in the future. It just makes the whole experience a more social and fun experience for everyone involved."
