I've been trying to teach myself how to speak a little Arabic lately, but the dictionary I have is kind of clunky, slow to use, and outdated, so I figured I'd try to find a translation app for my iPhone to help me with hard to parse language. The first recommendation I got was to use iTranslate, so I went and installed it, and I wasn't impressed. Many of the translations seemed faulty, or produced terms in the wrong language, and the app itself was buggy and prone to crashing. It's offered as a free trial with an expanded version if you actually pay, but I didn't see anything about this that would make me want to give these folks money. More

This app is a great idea. It needs more languages though that would make it better. To use it and get the most out of it, it's best to speak slow and clearly because sometimes it has a difficult time recognizes certain words. Also you need internet access on your phone for the app to work. More

I love using this app. Its totally free and there is no limit or ads on using it. I love the convenience and their translation is more accurate than Google Translate (That's what my Arabic friends say)
