"The game plot is fcking amazing. The story of Delilah is heart-moving--conflated with the vastness of forests, canyons, lakes, and mountains in high quality graphics, and of course the superb voice acting--this game stands out in those aspects. However, I feel like the character development of Henry was very slow and he has not undergone a very essential journey. "

"Although I can say that Last Light and Metro 2033 has some subtle horror theme, 2033 has more horror feels than the Last Light. They are both atmospheric tho. I like that the pacing of the game adjusts from one mission to another. Sometimes it gets full of action and then it gets slower, and the gameplay suddenly becomes methodical. 2033 has a new survivor mode where ammo is more scarcer and enemies have become aggressive. "

"Whoa, it feels surreal! The story is beautifully written to the extent that characters feel very realistic. Hence, it becomes very immersive, at least for me. Well, this is a game based on a fable so it is befitting to expect a nice plot. The strong points of this game are its story and atmosphere (they are amusing visually). As I play the character of Bigby Wolf, I really get to sense wthat is like to be Bigby--a detective with a dark past. Solving crime is also part of the gameplay. All in all this is one hell of a game! "

"Games with black and white graphics never fail to amaze me. The minimalistic and very unique environment of limbo and its creative puzzles make it stand out among other atmospheric games. Black and white atmospheric feel is real with this game. However, keyboard controls are quite tricky. "

"To be fair, the pixel graphics are in high resoluton. To know that the graphics are beautifully hand drawn is another plus for me. The color pallete works well for an atmospheric game--I believe the core part of making an atmospheric game is to set the tone and motif of the places to differentiate then and evoke a certain kind of emotion and mood. This is a dialouge-free game so don't expect any text. Thus, when I first played it I had a hard time figuring out what to do. I got stuck in the middle of nowhere and I didn['t know what to do. Just a little tip, layout of the dungeons change dynamically as you kill enemies. "

"The one thing that I loved most about this game in comparisions to others is that its very story-mode based. A lot of times, games now are solely focused on multi-player and leaves us story based out to dry. A game designer's standpoint this game makes really good use of limited resources.I can see all the places they've cut corners but they seem to have ticked all the major boxes that matter."

I had to escape from killer hillbillies while not being able to defend myself -- you can only run, that's it, no weapons allowed -- so it's incredibly atmospheric and I experienced many jump scares. Good game, and the price isn't too expensive. This is a must-own for horror fans."

There is so much to enjoy in this game as well as the story. Kind of dark, but that is what makes it enjoyable and playable for so many hours."

" Amnesia: The Dark Descent's puzzles aren't especially impressive and the voice acting can range from convincing to goofy, but the atmosphere Frictional has infused into the experience is as powerful as they come. It's a tale of terror that's menacing and disturbing from the very first moments, and only amplifies the further you progress. Any fan of horror, every Lovecraft fan, and any with even a hint of curiosity should give Amnesia a shot."

The story is somewhat interesting, but sadly it doesn't feel immersive and interactive in the way you would expect from a game like this. In the end, amazing visual elements just can't fully compensate for the frustrating and repetitive gameplay style."

"I am not a big fan of the series Resident Evil so this game does not interest me at all. To be it seems to be the same old thing over and over again in every game no matter what the setting or point of the game. While it may be good for some who love the Resident Evil series it does tend to get boring to see the same old things over and over again and it would be nice to have something new and different. To me, the content in the game looks no different than most games like this one. It is really nothing new and has nothing to make it stand out from the rest."

    Written on December 28, 2018
"Every moment of this game is memorable and nostalgic. The hand drawn visuals give the game this incredible atmosphere and feeling of sometimes peace, and other times depression and sadness. The story has you happy and feeling tension along with mystery. Then it's all about the tears. What does it for me in this game is the music. It adds a completely different feel to the game and this game got me into the indie genre. Only flaw is sometimes cringey dialog and parts of levels that are annoying to play through. You'll see at the end of the game that you wish you could forget about it and experience it for the first time again."

"I was looking for a good atmospheric game on Steam. I love atmospheric games and thought Fibrillation HD would be just right for me. Unfortunately, I don't care for it. It's supposed to be a horror story type game, which is cool, but the graphics are not very good and the story is not very interesting. Frankly, it's just flat-out boring. If you want to be bored for several hours, this might be the game for you. I'd suggest other games if you want something more fun and atmospheric. Not recommended."
