"While the market may be flooded with audio editors, Studio One is still worth a look. I love the giants in the market but find them too costly to be realistic for many people, and the learning curve can be high. Studio One offers a free version (free!) and I found it much easier to figure out than the others."

"I was looking for a simple, easy to use audio recording software for my PC and Audacity is the perfect solution. This software is free and provides so many features, that I would have to spend hours using it, just to crack the surface. This solves so many problems such as recording the audio that I hear on the computer, cutting, splicing and editing an audio recording...overlapping audio...I could go on and on. This software definitely provides a solution to the problem. The only thing I didn't like about Audacity was that the interface was a little complicated. "

"Always on the lookout for a great audio recording program for PC, and Podium was my latest find in the search for ultimate perfection. The demo is okay, at least gives you an idea of how the program works, but it's very limiting in that the audio drops like once per minute. There are also the annoying popups that are constantly asking you to register, and it's not cheap. But check it out, it might be the one you want to spend some hard-earned cash on if you like it!"
