"This book is written more for children and young readers to learn about having a goal and sticking to it. It also talks about why we have goals - in this one, to save the planet and the animals residing on it, besides ourselves. It is a bit hard for adults and children to read, because not all of it is very finished in tone."

"My daughter, like all young kids, is self-conscious about her appearance. So when she struggled with her first breakout of acne I bought this book for her. It's a charming graphic novel that tracks the struggles of the hero to deal with her missing two front teeth. "

"Down a Sunny Dirty Road, a Book by Mrs. Sweeney, is the start of an attempt at a voluminous, but readable, autobiography for Stan and Jan Berenstain. Intended for children, this book paints a simple, but broad, portrait of the two subject and is quite inspired in its reach. "

"Chinese Cinderella: The True Story of an Unwanted Daughter is an amazing story, among the best autobiographies that a child should read. It is empathetic and real and raw and gives children an insight into what life could be like if they weren't one of the lucky ones. This book rocked my world."

"I was not exactly familiar with Bill Peet before finding out about this book, as he was mostly active before my birth, but I now feel as if his autobiography is fun for kids, as well as valuable for adults to read as well. It tells his life story without exaggeration - at times, he is quite lucky and grand things happen to him, but at other times, he meets serious misfortune, though he always seems to stay motivated and upbeat. I feel like this is a motivational work for people of all ages who need a reason to pursue their dreams. Considering that this is just about everyone, it's tough to not feel positively about this work."
