Avengers: Endgame, the epic conclusion to the decade-long culmination of amazing superhero films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has come and gone. We've seen how The Avengers face off against their ultimate foe yet, "The Mad Titan", Thanos. The film also had one of the most memorable quotes ever so join us as we take a look back at some of the best Avengers: Endgame quotes and reminisce.
"I love you 3000" is now one of the most memorable and endearing lines in the Avengers: Endgame film that turns out, was not even scripted. It was an impromptu suggestion from Robert Downey Jr. that was actually what his children would always say to him. That just makes it even more meaningful and heartfelt.
The "And I am Iron Man" quote comes from the scene where Tony Stark takes the Infinity Stones away from Thanos so he himself can use it. The iconic line comes just as he is about to make "the snap" to restore everything back to the way they were intended.
This powerful line comes from Captain America himself during the heat of battle and all seems lost, portals open to give way for every hero in the MCU gathering together to fight against Thanos. Just as the climatic was battle was about to begin, in comes the line that was 11 years in the making, "Avengers! Assemble!".
Iron Man and Captain America go back to a time in the past where Tony has an encounter with his father, Howard. The surreal moment is highlighted with Tony quoting one of his father's words, "No amount of money ever bought a second of time." ensuring his father that everything will be okay and bidding farewell.
This was a line that we've heard back with the final trailer and we all thought it was referring to the "end of an era" but was actually referring to Tony's unfortunate passing. In a Tony Stark-like way of doing things, he already had a pre-recorded hologram of himself him saying the line "Part of the journey is the end" as it was played during his funeral.
We knew pretty early on that Iron Man and Captain America have not always been in the best of terms whether it be with the way they see the world or with the means that they go about to achieve the end. So Tony goes on by saying "Turns out, resentment is corrosive and I hate it." and making a new shield for Steve as a peace offering of sorts.
5 years have already gone by since the events of Infinity Wars that wiped out half of the world's population. Everyone is trying their best to try and move on but understandably, not everyone is able to. During a conversation between Steve and Natasha which Steve utters the line "Some people move on. But not us." and it's evident how much they are still reeling from their loss.
The Avengers are preparing to enter the Quantum Realm to go back to the past. In Captain America fashion, Steve Rogers gives an empowering speech to get everyone ready for what they are about to face. He ends it with the perfect line, "This is the fight of our lives and we are going to win. Whatever it takes."
